U15s Win   12/11/2017

The U15s had a fine win over West Offaly in Allianz Park today by 25 to 21. Danny Glennon, who was fleet of foot, scored the first try, dancing past the opposition. This was cancelled out by West Offaly who scored two converted tries. Again Danny Glennon was on hand to score a second try following a great move across the back line, the try being converted by Eoghan O Dwyer, to leave Ross two points behind at half time. Ross then took the lead when the forwards combined well to allow David Cirpaciu to rumble over, to score his debut try to make the score 17 to 14. West Offaly took the lead again scoring and converting another try but all was not lost. Cometh the hour, cometh the man! Mikey Handrick sniped at the base of scrum and following a darting run scored in the corner to put Ross back in the lead. Eoghan O Dwyer scored a late penalty. Today's result was very much a team  effort with stand out performances all round, particularly in defense.
