After another successful 6 Nations and European Rugby Championship campaign and in advance of an expected central role in the Rugby World Cup, Rugby’s number 1 referee takes time out to present his amazing life story to guests of New Ross RFC.
He discusses his playing career, his battles with bulemia and attempted suicide, his sexuality, his stand-up comedy career and his transition to becoming one of the top referees in world rugby……..and that’s just the first half!!
The second half affords members of the audience an opportunity to quiz Nigel more closely on any of the above aspects or even on who he expects to win the World Cup (but don’t expect and answer to this one!!).
